Located in the heart of Didsbury, the scheme has been designed to provide high-quality, energy-efficient homes while supporting the growing needs of the local community. The development comprises 76 affordable and social rent apartments, providing a mix of one and two-bedroom homes finished to a high specification throughout. Sustainability was a key consideration throughout the design and construction process, with the project achieving an EPC B energy rating and incorporating solar PV panels and air source heat pump technology to support lower carbon living. A significant feature of the development is the delivery of the new Didsbury Medical Centre at ground floor level. The purpose-built facility provides improved accessibility, enhanced patient facilities and additional clinical space, supporting a patient population of more than 15,000 people. The project demonstrates how residential development can successfully integrate essential community infrastructure, creating long-term benefits beyond the provision of new homes alone.
