Park House will provide 90 new one and two-bedroom specialist and affordable homes, comprising 52 extra care apartments with communal facilities, a central kitchen and on-site offices, alongside 38 independent living apartments. The development will consist of three four and five-storey structures, with two connected by a single-storey communal area. Wider works will include new incoming services and a substation, landscaping and improvements to the existing pond area, including a level wheelchair-accessible walkway. The project has now entered the Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) phase. Bridgestone will work alongside Anchor, Brewster Bye Architects, Civic and BWA (Europe) Ltd to develop the design through RIBA Stage 4. Bridgestone’s preconstruction, construction compliance and in-house MEP teams will contribute to design coordination, BIM, buildability, value engineering and programme development. The team will also help determine the most appropriate structural solution while ensuring the scheme meets Anchor’s requirements for quality, accessibility, energy efficiency and building safety. Park House is the second major scheme Bridgestone has secured through the ICN framework following Chestergate in Stockport, with two successful awards from two bids.
